It's really neat to be linked with your family members, immediate and extended. They are your God-given means to express love, care and patience. Your family gives you a sense of worth and belonging (of course, this is ideal). And my heart goes out to families who've been jaded by favouritism, sibling rivalry and abusive cycles at home. I feel bad for orphans and old folks who've been dumped by their loved ones and care-givers. Well, here are two ancient but meaningful photos of my family.
My maternal great great grandmother: second from left (seated).
The one next to her is my great great grandaunt.
The baby being carried is believed to be my grandma.
My father's family photograph. My dad is the third from the right (leaning his chin on his hand). He's the youngest of eight biological siblings and has four step siblings. A few of the family members were photoshopped into the photograph. You can spot them by the missing reflection on the glass table (also, the lighting and dressing style gives it away)
