Subsided Workload
In my last post, I vehemently scribbled my concerns about the end times and how things will be hard if we're not in relationship with Christ before He returns. It is a concern for me for two reasons: what if Christ returns before my family and friends have had the chance to know him and secondly, what if my life is in a total mess and my faith on the rocks when I hear the trumpet blow?
People say it is not how you begin but how you end that matters.
Lately, things have been chaotic. I feel like a crash-test dummy with my deadlines ramming me into concrete at high speeds, over and over again. More work is a good problem to have. It's definitely better than having none. However, being overwhelmed by things beyond your control only wears you out. I feel burnt out to a point where all I need is to just rest.
Thankfully, the whole workload has subsided. So the next six months will be rest and reflection. And possibly involvement in the stuff I've missed out over the last year or so. Need to catch up with my reading. And obviously writing.
